Soundex available: Coded index to all households and singles living elsewhere.

• 1905 Register (index) to Iowa State Census, Monroe County
• Lists: Name, age, sex, occupation, birthplace, if owner of home or farm, and it's value, schooking, marital status, years in Iowa and years in U.S. This census on cards - each person has a card, adults and children but not alphabetical or chronological withi a county - and family may be dificult to assemble. There is a Register of names however - listed as census taker enumerated them.

• 1910 Monroe County, Iowa Federal Census
• Lists: Similar to 1900 but does not include month andyear of birth. Name, age, sex, occupation, year of immigration, if naturalized, birthplace and those of parents, literacy, if property is owned or rented.

• Lists: Most descriptive of all - name, age, sex, relationship to head of family, marital status, home owned or rented, if naturalized, number of years in Iowa, number of years in U.S., birthplace, names of parents and their birthplace, and place of marriage, military service, occupation, church affiliation.
